I have recenty installed a Kenwood TMD 700 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center in Bedford. (Tactical call BRMCHOS)It is part of an Indiana Region 8 plan with the help of Region 8 Health Coordinator W9APK to install APRS and W9WIN interoperability amateur equipment to dispatch centers in all hospitals and health departments,EOC's and police departments as part of a health and welfare and emergency communications back up system in the event of a major disaster.
3 more sites will be up and running soon in Lawrence county.
