APRS Coverage
      #198 - Sat Sep 10 2005 07:34 PM

Guys... While at the Spencer HAMFEST during my Packet/APRS forum a few guys asked what kind of coverage do we have to the south like near KY.. Between bedford and KY more or less.. I can help... Maybe with TNCs .. And antennas...

Also I was asked by one guy who has been in the spencer area if we could get a digi in/nearby Spencer up relatively high.. He says he has a hard time seeing anything from Spencer with any reliability APRS wise... I can help here as well....

Any input would be great...

Hi Jerry.

We have good covage south of Bedford for APRS till about
US 64. And the Spencer covage will improve some as soon as I get kb9yvi back on the air. It took a lightening hit.

Need a good Digi in Linton and just downtown
Vincennes, Good luck Mike
