What is needed

I have a Kenwood TMD-700.....

What else do I need to use the APRS functions?

You will need add your call sign and a GPS location in the radio before it will TX your station.
Go "Wide 3-3"
freq. 144.390
Check www.findu.com for your station and look for "kc9ibe*" The "*" is a wild card look up.
It my take about 1 hour or so for your call sign to show up for the frist time on findu.com
Also listen to 144.390 it see if you can hear a digi in your location.
