UPDATE STATEWIDE RACES TEST
      #295 - Sat Jul 14 2007 10:07 AM

W9WIN To Assist With Statewide RACES Test

The W9WIN system will be assisting with the Indiana Statewide RACES test on Saturday July 21st at 0900 EST.

All of the RF Full time and on demand repeaters including Gosport and the Evansville 146.790 pl 88.5 W9OG repeaters WILL be up for the test.
There will also be Four Echolink repeaters linked in on the system for the test.
The W9VD repeater 444.300 (+5.00 offset) No PL, node # 37585 in Ft.Wayne will be assisting. The KA9OHV repeater 443.050 (+ 5.00 offset) PL 131.8 node # 242971 in Warsaw IN. and the K9WZ 147.265 (-) offset PL 131.8 repeater Node # 147885 in Plymoth IN.
There will be only 4 connects allowed via echolink into The W9WIN due to bandwidth restraints. These nodes were selected because they have a high coverage area and a large number of counties should be able to reach them via RF

.** W9WIN will not accept individual node connects during this test**.

If you are checking in for your county and you are within range of any of these repeaters you are encouraged to try to hit them by RF or link into the via echolink if they will accept multiple connects.
If you are wanting to check-in for your county via an individual node, I believe the N9KVX-L node #296563 in Columbus will be accepting those type of check ins. Visit the IDHS website for more info http://www.in.gov/dhs/ardc/semi.html

Remember you are encouraged to check into the net on as many modes frequencies and bands as you can. The objective of this test is to see what you available in your area ,if needed

Those connecting in to the W9WIN system will be linking into Node # 338340 (N9UMJ-R)

I can be contacted on the W9WIN system, or emailed at n9umj@yahoo.com

This information will be updated regurally , So be sure to keep checking in for new repeater and node information.
Thanks to all for your cooperation
